Planned Upgrades to the Site

So what's next? I plan to add the following to the site:

Create a better section on the history of chocolate that passes copyscape. Currently the one you have is copied from a public domain text.
Add a section on recommended chocolate cook books - refer to amazon listmania
Create a better section on chocolate recipes, branching off to topics such as puddings, candy etc
Write an article about the morality of chocolate. It seems that a lot of the chocolate is being grown by slave labour in Africa and funds wars just like blood diamonds. Sad.
Write an article about fair trade practices
Improve the positionof adsense ads throughout the site.
Add kontera to the site.
Section on chocolate baskets - how to make them
write a section on Death by Chocolate, there are lot of mystery novels featuring chocolate
chocolate games and puzzles - refer to listmania
develop section on chocolate candy
develop section on chocolate desserts
develop an encyclopedia of chocolate

December 13. 2014 -- Tweaked the ad lay out. Updated the ad layout on the side bar and added a banner length ad on the front page. Added an article about places named chocolate.

March 29, 2014 -- Added the site to Google Webmaster

March 19, 2014 -- Well it's been a while since the last update. Added an xml site map. Added robots.txt

October 3, 2009 -- standardized the bottom navigation on all new pages and also on most of the old chocolate recipe pages. Created a new section on Chocolate Cake including recipes for exotic cakes such as chocolate potato cake.Built a new site map as well as an xml map for search engine bots. Also created an About Us Page

October 2, 2009 -- built a new section on the best Chocolate Movies

October 1, 2009 -- built the section on chocolate brownies

September 30, 2009 -- added a section on coconut fudge and other old fashioned fudge recipes. Also built a new page on chocolate fountains.

September 27, 2009 -- redid the front page, added an article about health benefits of chocolate and a topic on the ten weirdest uses of chocolate.

September 26, 2009 -- replaced all the google ads with chitika until the site overhaul is complete. Commenced site overhaul

December 17, 2008 -- added a privacy policy. Note that the google ads display but you do not get credit because you disallowed this site pending repairs to make sure you conform to the adsense TOS.

February 26, 2007 -- Added the recipe feed to googlebase and am starting to get traffic from that source. I therefore improved the adsense layout on the recipe pages that are getting the most traffic such as the recipes for Chocolate Gingerbread, Ice Cream, Chocolate Charlotte, and Vassar Fudge.

February 24, 2007 -- added this site and its chocolate recipe feed to Yahoo. Also added new link partners. In the past few days also increased the number of one way links pointing to my site by submitting to various directories.

February 12, 2007 -- added a nice recipe for chocolate brownies.

February 7, 2007 -- added new sites to the Chocolate Web Site Directory as well as a few new chocolate recipes, including a recipe for home made chocolate pudding.

January 23, 2007 -- added new link partners as well as a new page called All Chocolate.

January 20, 2007 -- signed up for an account with linkmarket to promote link exchanges with sites that link to our directory of chocolate recipes.

January 18, 2007 - added an xml feed of sites that link to us here.

January 14, 2007 - made corrections and imporvements to the chocolate recipes from Uncooked Fondant to Chocolate Macaroon recipe.

Janurary 12, 2007 - added new chocolate recipe

January 6, 2007 - added new links to chocolate themed sites here.

January 1, 2007 - Completed a revamp of the Chocolate Directory which lists sites devoted to chocolate.

January 1, 2007 - Added this Site News page to record the latest updates and improvements to the site.

December 31, 2006 - Completed a revamp of the most visited areas on the site including the main page, and pages dealing with popular topics such as chocolate fountains, chocolate cookie recipes, and more. Also added new content, including delicious recipes for chocolate fudge, and a list of major chocolate festivals.
